Here is a problem that i am facin with the smileys in the main chat...
1. smileys of the type :abcd: does not work when u begin the sentence with them...if u leave a space in the beginnin then it's fine...but i am tired of tellin all the users abt this..
2. smileys of the type :A does not work until or unless u put a dot before them.

There is no problem with any of the smileys if they are in between the sentence or in the end...but these problems only show up when u begin a sentence a with them.

Can anyone please help me with this..

Also one more problem these scripts are shown to all the users whenever they join the hub is there a way such that these are not shown in the welcome message

Smileys are not a problem of the hub.
This functionality is added on client side... hub only does text.
Report this to the forum of the respective client-program you use to have access to the dc network.

You can edit things about smileys in the XML files in your Emoticons or EmoPacks folder

You can see lines like this. Edit the fields to your liking. It should solve your problem.
