2 / 3 weeks.  This isn't limited by the hubsoft though .  Once every-so-often my connection dies, and the only way to reconnect to the internet is to Reset my PC.  ?(

more then 74 day's on a beta before "12.1.2005" (non public release, before the 16.xx series).
had 2 test some uptime bugs on it (bad time showing and problems on deflood).
was still running fine but had 2 test a newer beta to see if the bugs were fixed.

I used to get that on my old Pipex connection also. Now I got a new connection and router and can just unplug it and it auto reconnects No need for reboots.

BTW here is 22 days.

I'm on Pipex as well :S.  Still need to get a router, getting sick of software firewalls.

Aye they're a good ISP but that disconnection seems to be from ADSL itself. Still pretty unreliable really. I got ukonline 8Mbit for the extra upload, got a free router with them to.

check your firewall settings, got the idea you are blocking the dhcp service.
when you boot up the firewall isn't running yet, so the dhcp stuff goes thru.

Thanks, but it's already enabled.  ?( I've noticed this problem with all the different firewalls i've tried, and i think imby is right, it's a problem on my ISP's end.

No Ukonline doesn't require cable, it's DSL, you need to be in an LLUed area though. Usually a densely populated area.

Yup, thats aloud, same as 255.255.255.255 (both of these are required to play Xbox games online).  Closing Firewall doen't help with reconnect, and the ipconfig /renew or /refresh don't help either.

Mainly once every 7 - 14 days normally.  Sometimes it lasts longer, other times can be as short as a few hours.  Nice to hear they don't need cable, but i live in a village, which ain't gotta lot of population. ?(
