Started to fix up the client profiles for DCDM++ some
days ago, didn't sleep much because of it.

And since the original update server voor the client
profiles is down, I putted it on my own server.

To update from my server open Settings of your DCDM
client, go to Clients (under Detector), replace the link at
top-right with http://vce.no-ip.com/profiles/, click on the
OK button -- Settings will close. Re-open Settings, go
back to Clients and click now on the 'Update' button.

Never click on 'Update' directly after entering a new link,
this will cause that DCDM will try to contact the old link
and won't put the new link in it's settings.

Please be patient if you got an error message, because
the server is running on an old system, the simultanious
download connections are restricted to 5!

I also putted a old ISP list on the server, this can be
downloaded from http://vce.no-ip.com/providers/, the
same story as above. But otherwise then the profiles,
I won't maintain this list, it's just a old list I had!

If you want to download the file as .zip file, just click on
the file name: profiles_v43.zip.

Good work. :)

*** Edit
Just a few things.  First of all about the Filelist Detector stuff duplicating, Sulan fixed that bug in 0.042.

He also made this profile for McDC++

			McDC++
			^(0\.4034|0\.6(68|70))$
			^<\+\+ V:%[version],%[mode],%[newhubs],%[slots]>$
			<McDC 0\.(21|23|24|25|26|28|28R)>
			^EXTENDEDPROTOCOLABCABCABCABCABCABC$
			^DCPLUSPLUS%[version]ABCABC$
^(BZList |BZList GetTestZBlock |BZList MiniSlots |BZList MiniSlots GetTestZBlock |BZList MiniSlots XmlBZList |BZList MiniSlots XmlBZList GetTestZBlock GetZBlock |MiniSlots XmlBZList ADCGet TTHL TTHF |MiniSlots XmlBZList ADCGet TTHL TTHF GetZBlock ZLIG )$
			File Not Available

			^(1|2)$

			0
			0
			1
			^(Modem|Wireless|28\.8Kbps|33\.6Kbps|56Kbps|ISDN|Satellite|Cable|DSL|LAN\(T1\)|LAN\(T3\))$

			0
			0

R2 says his version to high 4 and yours are slightly different.  He uses
0\.((5|[7-9]){1}([0-9]){1}([0-9]){0,1}|6(([0-6]){1}([0-5]){1}|([0-6]){1}9|(7([4-9]){0,1})|([8-9]){1}([0-9]){1}))
for the version bit of it. :)

I think this might be made the default profile, and the one referenced in the About page of 0.043. :)

Jelf

Firstly I think its soo great that DCDM++ has been taken on again, as its so useful and was dying out.

You mention 0.043, is it out yet? Cant see a link :)

Doobert

I cant find 0.042 let alone 0.403 and directions would be much appreciated:)

Pothead,
thanks for the new profile, I certainly will use it in the
next relaese, the next relaes will have also the DC++
profiles redone (first step). The first thing I noted in the
McDC++ profile is the grouping of all possible extended
Supports.

And yes, I redone de regular expression for the Version
string in Version too high 4. Actually I originnally try to
rewrite all the regular expressions; just to learn that
DCDM++ doesn't follow the regexp rules according the
specification.

Most notable is that CDM++ has a preference to require
overstatement of the expression. [5|7-9] should have
the same function as ([5|7-9]){1}, but somehow the
profiles get disfunctional if you do so. An other eye
stacker is the overuse of the escape backslash in the
profiles expressions. No difference is made between
inside class and normal metacharacters.

Then about the beautifull version 0.042 of DCDM++, it's
much faster then the preceding version. Only one small
flew occured to me using it. When a user get's a
cheating notification in DCDM's user list, it stays red
even when he's found ok after a recheck.

PSF8500 is at university and has been doing that instead of DCDM.  Fair play.
Since it everything died down for ages, a few of the people from the developers section of that forum decided to start bug fixing it, and making small changes. :)
Another file to go with the EXE.
PDB files to make Exception info if / when it crashes

bastya_elvtars

Well, you have done excellent job. DCDM is far more stable that nefore, and the updated client checks increase its accuracy. Thanks, guys!
Everything could have been anything else and it would have just as much meaning.

I tried this for version to high 4 and it started kicking all 0.673 and some 0.670 so quickly stopped it. I replaced it back to the updated one in the updated list by robertone and all is ok again :)

Btw robertone, is it possible to put the version number back into the client profiles please, stops confusion. heh

Version numbers are in the profiles, so I don't quite understand your question.
Did you mean to ask to remove the extention, e.g. (0.400 - 0.4034)?

But like I said before, I'm redoing the DC++ profiles  8)

Strange then, when I added http://vce.no-ip.com/profiles/ to update the client profiles, I clicked closed then reopened and clicked update and the version No. line at the top of the profiles disappeared, have tried updating again but still not there.

robertone

I'll see what you ment, DCDM++ strips any comment while updating. The download
as zip file, however, will contain the comment with version numeber in it. At the
next update I'll put version number back in the profile section. But please note that
the version entered as a profile, will also been seen as unknown profile by DCDM++.

[15:49:26] does anyone have contact with that guy who is working with the profiles?
[15:53:49] well, i want him to do a thing...
[15:54:15] add versioninfo @ the end of the doc
[16:32:35] can you give an example of what's expected
[16:32:41] and i'll ask him to add it
[16:32:43] :)
[16:33:09] http://flow84.no-ip.org/dcstuff/DCDM/XML/Profiles.xml
[16:33:16] there is an example

:)

Also since the duplication bug has been removed, could you add the Filelist detector stuff back into the one you download via http://vce.no-ip.com/profiles/ please.

*** Edit. Since people have been playing silly buggers with the imperialnet.org forum, we think it would be safer to use a different one for DCDM, until the admin bloke turns up. http://flow84.no-ip.org/forum/

Hi, so we can update over the top of the http://koti.mbnet.fi/runde/ profiles that we've been using? or do you recommend that I reload your profiles from scratch?

Simply update over R200's Profiles, but before you update the profiles, read
carefully how to update the link first.
