Hi,

I am writing a small script which will show a text file when a user (level -1) enters the hub.

I have the if newuser then

but I cannot sort out reading and displaying a textfile.

I have user.txt in my scripts folder but am stumped on how to read it and then display in a pm to the user.

Please can you help me.

Thanks in advance

This is the line you should need... experiment with it

readfrom("file.txt") --// Set File Name here
while 1 do
line = read()
if line == nil then break end
user:SendPM(BotName,line) --// Set Botname and right user/curUser here
end
readfrom()

Thats great, thank you very much.

Looking at existing scripts I thought it was more comlicated than that.
