hi, maybe its a stupid question:
is it possible to load a pic when the hub starts?

like in forums , where upload a pic and set a link then in the forum?

Not aware of anything like this.
Can u please specifuy your pic format. Is it .jpg?
may be it cant be done.
But u can surely send ascii (dotted images made by normal keyboardkeys used to make lookalike images!)
Hope someone replies with positive result.

Then i think you should imagine how the image will look because i dont think any DC client will support .jpg display
and may be that's the reason ASCII were made.

download any dc which support smiles & install it in ur pc. then convert ur image into .bmp put the image in similes folder & edit smiles xml file upto ur filename with path then u can repack into .exe or .msi & distribute it to ur clients & when they will connect you should add a code in motd same as the smilie u have added.

u can add many images like this & don't forget to activate Emotion pack by right click on similes.

MOTD i mean without distribution of the edited client!!

I have not tried it.... just got an idea u can use other stuffs like auto messages...don't know much about it, but i think it will work :D
