Title: Error on client connect to server
Post by: eagle00789 on 13 March, 2008, 16:20:26
When i connect to my potax server (0.4.0.0), i always get the message (translated)
QuoteSorry, connection request not send because of wrong IP.
How do i must connect to the server when the server is running on the same machine.

p.s. i use a hostname at the moment. (lets say it is myownhub.mine.nu:1209)
that hostname is also filled in in the server as hostname.

Given PtokaX is running on the same machine, I'd assume you'd have an account registered on that hub.
In Profile Manager, you can disable the check for IP for you specific profile. Note though that this affects everybody with that same profile.
The setting you must select is "Don't check IP in DC commands", the second from the bottom.

That would depend on the error message they receive , if any.
What exactly happens when one tries to get your filelist ?
