As i said, once i !restart its fine!

Its got nothing to do with my server at all

<<< btw, Respect bastya_elvtars: thankz for all ur help with my site =]

It might be due to dynamic IP or lease times in DHCP server, or the poor state handling of OS/firewall, I haven't asked in vain. :)

BTW: you are welcome, I hope this will fulfill your needs.
Everything could have been anything else and it would have just as much meaning.

this is what happens when i try to use !restart  or frmHub:Restart()
Ignorance is Bliss.

bastya_elvtars

In order to register my bot and make hub-sec alias have the same name, I made this workaround:

function Main()
	frmHub:RegBot(Bot.name,1,Bot.desc,Bot.email)
	frmHub: SetHubBotName(Bot.name)
if  not frmHub:GetHubBotIsAlias() then frmHub: SetHubBotIsAlias(1) end
end

After this, the botname does not appear in my userlist. :( however if I set a different HubBotName, it works.
Everything could have been anything else and it would have just as much meaning.

RegBot fail if nick is already used or in reserved nicks (hub bot and hub opchat have nick reserved too) :))

Got a report from a user today about client side /away mess

That it doesnt seems to function as it should, and I tried it and found out that he did a correct observation
Dont know if its because of hub settings or a bug in the soft.

Hi PPK
!restart gives me this ,,
i guess you have seen this before
A cold BeeR is stunning !!

As far as im aware there isnt any source for RMDC - hence why the guy has stopped making it.
Also only seems to stop the older emulations of it ie 401,403 in 17.09.
 Had to reinstall 17.08.

Found a lil something,

In 17.09, If i place a SendToAll function in the events NewUserConnected or OpConnected. When SendToAll calls, it sends the data to everyone except the newly connected user....

Function NewUserConnected(User)
SendToAll("*** if u just logged in u should see this!")
end

To make sure u do understand what im saying. All users see the SendToAll except User!!!

Also would be good to have the command settings in a dat to (how many times do i have to ask? if u want to be lazy just say ur not gonna do it!!!) :P

it does send to everyone, its just that its send to the user that logs in before he is fully logged in, I have solved this in my welcome message script by adding a timer and set it on 0.2 seconds.

Ptokax should set the user as loged before the event is called. I dont want to waiste process on a timer when this can be fixed simply.

then ask PPK if he could fix it ;) but until he does, you might need a timer to solve tings :P

Yes in NewUserConnected (OpConnected) is not user added to hub... is because we need to save badwith and cpu.
After is user processed by this function then is finally added to hub.
SendToAll send data to all users added to hub ... in other cases it waste badwith/cpu and sometimes cause PtokaX crash X(

Why ?( I don't know any good reason to have this

Well, if the commands are loaded from a dat, then programs\hubowners will be able to edit this dat to edit the command triggers or help information.

Meaning we can edit more!  :D

Why timer  ?(
curUser:SendData("welcome message")
SendToAll("welcome message")
:))

Yes you edit and after PtokaX overwrite it with own settings  :P

well that only solves one prob , ppk, the other is the motd coming after the newuserconnected , we still have to use a timer for that !

Dude, just dont save the command settings on program exit! Why would you anyway. Because im sure u wont make a command settings editor! And theirfor they would never change.

Just simply make a dat file with a format like:

command|arguments|information

Going in any particular order like:

passwd|| - change your password
ban| ()| - permanently ban IP address of the , followed by kick. Reason is optional.
banip|| - permanently ban IP address

then have ptokax's rules message replace the command settings. Once again ill say this will improve ur hubsoft!!

Agreed! i sersiouly think that the lua connection calls should execute after the login process is complete! including the userlist send.

One more problem with this is any pm calls with botnames dont get through because the user doesnt have the botname in the userlist. (this is with the first login for some reason)

Please reply to the last post PPK, would love to fully incorperate cSlave into ptokax with some more simple features.

I don't see any improvement in having duplicite settings saving... no i don't make this, is really stupid !!!

Why ??? Give me one good reason for this cpu and badwith wasting...
