hi folks, im new in here :)

well we need for our local cable hub some script that does register nicknames with them ip adresses to prevent changes of the nicknames

it should be warning users to change them nicknames and give the OP's a warning message like user with ip 10.1.X.X and nick XXX was already logged (registered?!?) under nick XXXX
