I started the ptokax, opened up strong dc++, went to connect to 127.0.0.1, and got that message above

adaykin

ok I did that, still getting the same error message. How did you know how to put that in is there a instructions file in PtokaX that I am missing or something?

CrazyGuy

The suggestion Mutor gave is the direct result of some scripts not accepting all clients by default. (I.e. RoboCop)

Since you still have this message, you may wanna look if you have PtokaX set to Redirect All Connecting Users.
Or maybe, hub is full ?

adaykin

ok I turned that setting off, but when I opened up Strong DC++ and connected to 127.0.0.1 (In the settings for Strong DC++ I have the user name as "Andy", and the admin name in PtokaX is "Andy" as well) I got a message saying name you are using is reserved. It seems like it thinks that the admin user "Andy" in Ptokax is already logged in. If it is in fact logged in already how would I log in as the admin then to Strong DC++?

adaykin

Yep I already did that too. Do you have an im, since this is a lot of back and forth, you can pm if this is ok with you.

tried following the link, I assume you wanted me to just put it in a browser...here's the message in Strong DC++
