I would like to have update check for beta releases as well. Should, of course, be optional.
Everything could have been anything else and it would have just as much meaning.

Yes, and from here, and so on. In case I was not clear enough, I would welcome a feature in ptokax itself.

Ur idea is good .. But i were thinking those hub owners that just runs hubs and dont know much about scripts.. if there is option to "click" to get latest beta version .. they click it every day to check if new beta available.. they run it anyways cos it's latest version... and PPK will get busy alot... Dunno how rest thinks but my opinion is that no for that  ;)

Your argument against it is simultaneously your argument for it, because the people who don't know what beta software is, they'll get it from here anyway. :-)

Ok,... so we need the 'Check for latest beta' button,... and then when clicked we need a pop up window to explain what a beta is ,..  after the 'OK' button on the popup is clicked the soft checks for the latest beta .. ::)  complicated...

so true... but when that option is allready in px, they check it every day and dl's latest beta... and voila... suddenly all scripts wont work like they should work due to small changes that have came from new version..
So my opinion was that no beta check buttons... If they want to get betas they should "search" for it and really know its beta and all scripts might not work like they worked in latest stable version!

I'd really like better a newsletter from the board ;)
Saying the changelog and having the link,... it should go to every registered user in the board ;)
