first off try learning general scripting in lua, then ptokax scripting.

believe me, if you learn it, it's not that hard 2 write a hub security bot like robocop or lawmaker (now opti is preparing the guillotine for me.)

Making script package is not the problem ofcourse.

But making it better each time is. Mine has only around 2000 lines of code and alotttt of options and features.

Thats where the strength of robocop lays and allmost everything is hashed. So it's verry quick in it's on way.

I'm allways thinking in ways to make it shorter and quicker. I'm rewritting it alomost for a year now

i will not send him the source as he would be scared of those (currently) 4706 lines not 2 talk about the config and the rightclick plugin.

and yes, optimizing a script can sometimes be terible... but the results are worth it!

How could mine be better than robo? robo is being made a few years ago, mine only a few days ago and i wrote 75-80% of it from scratch.

i'll keep my mouth shut with a.i.'s 11063 lines and a near 1000 line config files.
lot's of features and couple which no other script package has.

@ Luck: check the howto section of the board and download luabook1.pdf.
if you want you can learn it within a month.
and if you have any question just post the script and tell your problem as detailed as possible.
and don't ask for an answer.
may sound weird, i know.
ask for hints.
this way you learn a lot more all tho it takes a bit more effort.

just saw the BigBang pta has declared today .. eagerly awaiting for a binary package as all of us that patiently waited havent had any interest in scripting for some time now. At least since we learned about PtX with L5 on ... ;)

ppl will definately need to see sources of big L5 bots for inspiration ( incl me ) although I am pretty sure you guys are gonna give clues about your work pretty soon ..

Opti : would it be so bad to see L4 Robo as soon as PtX-L5 comes out ?

as for plop-king , I wanna configure all your 1000 lines hehe :P

i won't release the source of a.i. but the day the new ptokax comes out i'm gone release a compiled version.
so ppl can start using the new ptokax.
now don't be sad, i'll release a couple more scripts, some stripped from a.i. as source.
as for you just give me a pm in my hub if you allready wanna play a bit with a.i..
