hi PPK ,information, but I wanted a ptokax and protected from ddos attacks?
ptokax if not protected, how can I protect my hub ddos attacks?

Protection depends on attack type, you should start with good firewall ::)

what kind of firewall do I install on my server with Windows 2008?

Comodo personal Firewall okay?

If you have an old pc gathering dust you could use:

IPCop (http://www.ipcop.org)

or my personal favorite

ClearOS (http://www.clearfoundation.com/)

or you could try and configure the
Windows Firewall (http://www.windows-tweaks.info/html/adressleiste_verschwunden2.html)
