Guys, where can I post Problems realted to client softwares, see, i need to know a small thing from odc...
the meaning of these :


m = mode, This can be either Active or Passive...
h = No. Of Hubs.
In Odc their is a 0 here, what does that means
S = No. of slots
and here is see 0: and a number, what does that mean ?

does anyone know ?

Sure here's a short explaination:

S:num        =   Slots
H:num        =   Hubs
M:char        =  Mode   A=Active / P=Passive
B:num        =   Bandwidh Limiter should not exist...
L:num        =   Bandwidh Limiter should not exist...
F:num        =   Bandwidh Limiter should not exist...
V:num        =   Version of client

ohh I see, I never saw those new  B, L, F  anywhere,
I have seen it like this
V, m, H:X/X/X S
and other places V, M , X/X/X S, O

X = Xfactor = anynumber
could u give an small breif explanation pls ?

O:x means the client opens a extra slot if the total upload speed comes below that number.

What is the advantage of open a new slot when the total upload speed is below 50 ? I mean shouldnt it be the other way arround ? like if I am on a T3 Line and my totaly Upload speed goes less than 1028Mbit then it should close one or two, in that way those who does will finish off their downloads faster ? I mean is their a logic in opening a extra when speed is less than ?

Sorry if its a really dumb question...sometimes their are no answers for dumb questions..

np i'll give a simple example.
you can upload with a speed of 50KB/s and have 4 slots.
on all slots you have users witch all are downloading from you with 10KB/s.
that would mean you have 10KB/s unused upload space, so your client whill open 1 more slot 2 use that left over speed.
