Hi I am new to LUA scripting so I need alot of help, can some one show me how to script in lua or any good website that explain's LUA scripting, and also do you need a lua compiler? And is it possible to make a lua script using notepad? I want to learn lua becuse I want to make a mod to a game called simcity4 which is a maxis game a branch of EA games, the game uses lua scripts, can anyone guide me?

Yes you can use Notepad BUT i would recommend something else .. like Edit Plus

also have a look at the many open source script in here and learn from them..
