hmmm, why? some changes in dc protocol could bring us some advantages if they decided to make a few changes. For me the protocol have more than one thing wrong implemented since beginning, what i really don't know if can be re-arranged or fixed, anyway i supposse if arne or opera want to make changes into protocol, they can do it at all.

Agree with you, but i'm not convicted that this thread will lead to some changes on client side.

All i can actualy see moving are the servers, like when ptokax has filtered the $MyINFO not to be sent if unchanged.

This is a server patch to a client problem ;(

I've seen more on diferent hub softs, but no cohesion between clients and servers.

Just my opinion.

This isnt a wave of change but u got a point opium.

I think we need more cohesion on hubsofts, but i believe they want to receive a lot of glory by their own ... if i may program on c++ just for helping my comunity i will gladly help on anything i see helpful on ptokax or dc++, but i dont know how, and i know there are a lot of c++ dev?s running on hubs

its a USER fault not a original dc++ or ptokax or whatever.  They do whatever they can/want.

Again i thank all the dc++ comunity dev?s
