exists  one script that is  able to blocking to the passive searches to only block  the users ?

thanks ......

WTF is this? Why do you want to block?
Everything could have been anything else and it would have just as much meaning.

Perhaps he doesn't want to waste b/w on passive users.
Why do you care?

Because some users cannot do anything to become active, because of their ISPs for instance. That way, such users on his hub may not search, which is another cut-into-freedom-for-bandwidth-saving-purposes-even-with-transparent-outgoing-packet-compression-issue.
Everything could have been anything else and it would have just as much meaning.

Mutor thank you so muck!  ;)

Cut into freedom? How noble and yet naive.

The greater percentage  passive users are passive
because they are too lazy or stupid to configure a
simple [NAT] or firewall. Thats the simple truth of it.
There are those that cannot change their mode for
reason beyond their control. In either case they put
undue stress on a hub and it's own connection.

It's still an owner choice to govern their hub as they
wish. Will we ever separate the request from our own
opinions? If I so loathe a request I simple don't work
to meet the request. Is that not the better method?

Well, it would be better and it would not be THAT pointless if one kept those users out of the hub completely, because either they would set their connection up properly or beg somehow for access since they cannot change this, because it ain't under their control. And the burden on the hub is not that high, client and server developers have taken care of this, but I agree with that there are too many passive users.
OTOH it all boils down to the ratio theory of mine again, since passive users would have a worse ratio because of the inability to upload to all users, thus they could be forced to become active with ratio control.
Everything could have been anything else and it would have just as much meaning.

sorry , i'm trying the script but the search passive they are blocked for all categories(master, mod , op, vip ,reg ,users),
it is possible to only block for the "users"?
I want that only the users they cannot  make searches passive, but remaining catogories they can
thaks

Kastor

thank you so muck , now works correctly  ;)
in This part of code  "string.rep(" ",350)..search" 350 indicates the search in second ?

No it represents 350 space charachters

Which is just a little bit more burden than letting the search go. :-P
