Flat File database to MySQL.

OK.... so i have a flat file database with 244000 rows of data.  But I would really like it in MySQL.

There are programs which will do this for me if I part with $30..... ummmm.... NO

Does anyone know of a way / a free program which will do this please?

I can start from any format really... excel, access.. flat file.... but the end result is a mysql database..
