read the howto's from the board and phatty's lessons.
and the lua book ofcourse.
then start trying and whenever you need help you can post your script in here on the board.
with a detailed explenation of the error and what your trying 2 do.
but do clearly state that you don't want your script 2 be fixed for you, just that you want hints.
a hint works always better then a straight answer, alltho it takes longer you learn more.
