Cannot run the hub eventhough the firewall is off

Hi, i have try to run the hub using ptokax td4.99. I have turn off the firewall and also open the 411 port. But when i try to connect, it says Connection refused by target machine. PLease anybody help me

Try connecting to 127.0.0.1...


4.99 is not an official release as far as my memory serves...

If you have a router this one is a common problem, you have to connect to your own server using your local ip and no your wan ip. This only is for the man who host the server behind a router, for the rest of people out of the lan, they can normally connect using wan address is the port in forwarded in router and open in firewall.
This problem occures normally with users whou are in lan (local ip), have a public ip (wan ip) and after all there is a proxy server (another public and wrong ip), in my case the proxy is an undesired stuff from my phone company.

Turned off external software firewall, have you disabled the internal software firewall ;) (xp only)

i suggest not using that version
not very stable
and ptaxec never released it so it could be hacked so be carefull.

a friend of mine still has problems with router and a hub... that sucks... ?(
