The Ptokax-Versions really confusing me!

I want to run a Hub in our school (I've already asked our admin) for 20-50 users(100Mbit LAN).

But the Ptokax-version-names really confusing me!

Is "Testdrive 4" a BETA?
It sometimes refused connections with the answer "You must have 2 slots open!" when the client has already 2 slots open.

Currently I'm using IceCube IV without any problems.

Please tell me which hub-software i should use?
There's only one restriction:

It MUST work with PhantomDC++!!

testdrive is indeed a beta but it's stable enough 2 use it.
for that slot problem try disabling the aditional slot check on the advanced tab.
robocop is indeed a great bot for starters but the latest versions need testdrive 4.
all versions of ptokax work with phantomdc++, it's the bot's which can be incompatible with it.
if you use 1 which allows nmdc v1.0 to enter, then any client can enter your hub.

you can't. It's not released yet.

well just use the latest version ^^ if there is a new version, use that, shows hat an older version was'nt good enough

New version does not mean old one is not good enough it simply means its different from the other and waz made after the other. lol.

hmm ... I think u are mistaken .. to release a new version means that the older one is doing stuff in a less efficient way...  
If they get me a spray to clean my teeth properly, then, Yes the toothbrush "is not good enough" ...

Wel it maynot always work like that. Alot of new versions of things are not as good as the privious.Lets just say that a new version is made after the previous version there is no arguing about that.lol.But new versions are not always better than some older one's.

testdrive has added features which had 2 be tested.
i'll name a couple.
additional slots check ---> buggy don't use it --> fixed in 0.3.3.0.
the database ---> growing wild and lagging the system ---> gone be fully rewriten on 0.3.3.0 (currently disabled).
the profile system --> works great.

now you can see that new ain't always better.
icecube is the latest final release.
testdrive 4 is the last public beta.
