Hi guys.....
I think my hub is gonna close for ever......coz frm last few days i am gettin ip conflict....
The whole story started like this....
My hub got collaborated with other....and thus now we have two ip's..but we r using 1 ip only...our hub became very popular....but a few days b4 i got an ip conflict...so i closed the hub and changed the ip....but later after 2-3 mins..my hub was being hosted....i got connected....but i was quickly banned by my fren who had not even logged in the hub tht day.....and other reg ppl are being banned by my or my fren's nick.....but actually we aren't banning them.......and the share of all the users including me have the same share i.e 1.94 GB....this is happening frm last 2 days......plzz help me guys....i am in real trouble..
If you use PtokaX version before 0.3.5.0 then you need to upgrade...
i don think so tht it matters wid the Ptokax version u r using.....i think some hacking type things r done....jus wanted to kno how can i get rid of this.....

How about following PPK's advice? Perhaps he knows more about PtokaX than you. :-)

i am using Ptokax DC hub 0.3.5.1...wich is the latest....
hm... someone must know the passwords of your hub operators my recommendations
change them!!!
u didn get me dude.....if it was abt the passwords thn hub should be on....but the hub was closed...thn also i got connected to the hub......and I was banned......
Hum.... Are you hosting your hub?
if your hosting the hub .. then clear the bans/ban ranges then check the ip logs to see if any1 has logged into the hub with a differant ip/ip range to other ops EG. same nick has op but diff ip ... to see if hub was hacked.
i have seen this done many times before .. some hub owners for some unknown reasons sharing there hubs with all reg details

is this ptokax sending the 3x bad pass ? or a script?
if it is a script then point us to it cause you need
a modification to log the ips of those ppl :)
hey if any one kno's the hub registered users details (i.e nick & pass) .....then in any way is it harmful or threatfull for the hub??

what can you do with a master account in a hub ? maybe shut it down ? :)

ooh .. pardon me I mistook what you where saying,...
I'd say there is nothing they can do,... really nothing :) (unless there is a profile permission in Profile Manager in PtokaX that allows them to shutdown the hub, of course :D )
