You can say me here what is missing from the old forum.
I try to set up a few things i was finding usefull like 5 last post and posts from last login.
I think that i can make an automated backup available for download to (minus password & login infos ;)
And after an hardware upgrade, i will be able to host files here with some tools like a cvs repository.
So, just ask! I will maintain a TODO list based on features discussed here.
As i talked to Opium a few day's ago he tolled me that he wanted to have the forum exactly the same ass before.
There for i brought up the Script Download Section that was allways there at the old forum.
It's just a backup Database for all finished script packages, funstuff, and other nice scripts.
Me did this because there was a choice between Opium & Optimus for hosting the new Lua forum. Because Opium was much faster then me with putting the Burning Board Forum Online then me. I then decided to bring the Script download Section Alive again.
Me just can't remeber that good what sections there were exactly.
So please me need some more input??

Me will post a link this week on the Forum were it's at.
Btw, all scripters can Register and Upload there own Script to there own Section. It's a verry nice and simple system.

The sections are not important at all. Who cares abut that?!. Make your own sections and rearrange all scripts under your own thoughts. Names are really not important, the service you are going to run is the important thing after all, and you can be sure people are going to use it, so keep good work, and don't take care to many about the details :D

Nice, this is a big part of what is missing.
I've got parts of the stuff that was availlable if some are missing.
For keeping the forum like it was, it is a choice in case we can get backup of the old one.

The board needs 2 threads more:
1.- PtokaX Bugs Report.
2.- Ptokax Features Request.
The first thread is important for people who are using PtokaX last releases can post there his troubles using PtokaX, is totally important since Ptacek is working over and old code, earlier codes had some bugs that appear later in last releases, so a reminder could be great since he is coding again.
The second thread is interesting too, i wanna make a set of features request in the following days, i'm thinking in a lot of things to put under developer considerations and people post their own, so we can arguing and discussing and get and answer from developers too. I wanna make ptokax powerfull and plenty of features, so a place for talk could be nice since changes always implyes things like stability, system resources, and speed connections.
A comment from Ptacek into this could be great too.
Would be nice if editing of a post would show it on main page just like a reply or new thread, can this be done in the board settings?

I'm against this part of roy post because this board is used too much to post scripts and in this case scripts are not properly displayed if people does not note it, anyway is a silly request from plp, one way or form me another way, people alwaus can choose what tjey like althougth i prefer the current way :P

great feature would be if you could see by simple click on a link next to all names Where all users are..
in what section..
and if they are posting or just idle....
