Title: Blocklist
Post by: Toast on 14 May, 2008, 18:13:25
Yo Mutor got a challange for you or any other scripter that feels that they are up to the challange

A script that uses bluetack lists to check if the range is in the hub or perhaps deny them entry etc.
These lists are maintained so a update system would be nice to have aswell

Description for Level 1 list

QuoteThis list blocks known anti-p2p companies.
It contains p2p trackers like Mediasentry, Mediaforce, and known fake p2p file sources from companies like Overpeer. The list also contains all known Government - Military - Science - Research Labs and Bad Education facilities IP addresses collected by the Bluetack Team. Basically this list will block all kinds of internet connections that most people would rather not have during their internet travels.

Why not included in the software directly ?

and extend with commands etc make it more interact able with direct connect software

Should be added to the client instead IMHO.

it could be done in both client and in server IMHO server is probably the better way to do it but why now test making a script for PtokaX and see how far one can take it there is no harm in trying look at hexhub it has this plugin and users seem satisfied with it
