The funny thing is that peerfactor is since 6 months ago not a part of Retspan and
does not do any anti-p2p anymore and is instead trying to create legal distrobution systems.
Allot of these articles spreads misinformation.
I don't use bittorrent so don't really follow its developments anymore.
I do know that p2pnet is normally a fairly good site for news on p2p.
well, Slyck was the first one with the story and they had misinformation on it,
then all the other sites took the same story and spread it like wildfire.
The fire was stopped at Slyck when people realize they where wrong,
but the wildfire still continues on many other sites which will be hard to stop.
Because you have to discuss it on all those sites and repeat all the arguments and
the people who have heard the misinformation will say the same thing over and over again.
This whole issue has become a pain in the a**.
