When using the !banip command, I get an error message from Ptokax saying " Access violation at address 00557161 in module 'PtokaX.exe'. Write of address 00000022"

The banned IP is not written to the relevant log.  Can anyone shed any light on this to a helpless newbie!

Sorry if thas has cropped up before but I can't find any reference to it.

I don't know why version you running, this bug is probably already fixed, anyway PtokaX create files PtokaxDebug.log and PtokaxDebugExt.log where is usefull info on this crash ... if this bug is not fixed, this files help to find it and fix it :))

I am using TestDrive 4.99 3.17, with RobocCopv7.0a.  I can't find any trace of the 2 debug logs you mentioned, Only got a file called error.log which seems to be just regsock errors.

sad to say this, maccy, but suit yourself when using a version of Ptokax that is not officially released and a known bugfactor. Try using the td4 and see if that gets rid the errors.

Thanks for the info Chub, didnt realise that I was using a wrong version - will change as you suggest.
