I enabled the client detector in Robocop. i banned NMDC, it worked, and i lost about 30 members as expected. got the error in main chat from my main bot "[23:15:58] *** MyINFO Spam detected!! from user: "

what does this mean? does running the client detector have any negative effects on the hub? in terms of using more bandwidth or anything else?

i've given all the ip's of the hub pingers free in my firewal.
Doesn't work.

thats not an error message, its a warning that some "client"(user) is causing myinfo spam !

i think you are missing the point.
problem is that the hub only is regd now an than on hublist.org
connection is getting blockt some how some where

if i understand correctly , the hub is now regged users only, and the hublist.org isnt able to ping ur hub and find out how many users and share, etc u have, well then try reading this (http://board.univ-angers.fr/thread.php?threadid=4300&boardid=28&sid=562eec4364d36b1a5112c7247e543bbb) thread, maybe it can help, or searching the forum or enabling auto register in ptokax

only problem is that hub ist in de hublist al the time.
somthimes once a day en for the rest of the day i get de error

hmmm, maybe u should try to remove the "reg only" for sometime, to test it, maybe its not a ptokax or hublist problem maybe its something else,

It could be that your hub is not allowing the hublist pinger to get in. Like share, slot, hub , version rules or whatever...

To solve this you should allow the nick and maby better do this with IP combination , to enter without applying any of those rules.

the hub list pinger can user whatever nick
the hub owner wants, you just have to :

1st)Run ptoka x on your PC

2nd)go in //www.no-ip.org find your hub and PRESS the "Edit" button to fix all info you like for your hub


YOu have to run ptoka x to edit the site,or else only the host can edit the hub info in hublist.org

I don't understand why pinger see my hub each time on line but show most off the time total user 0 , i put the script find in the hublist.org FAQ and given a sp?cial profile for the pinger but it's not good , my hub was under ynhub but i want to be under Ptokax ,since i'm not anymore in the list of hublist.org and i have more than 250 users you can see at //www.hublist.org/?p=hub&id=137700 ,  i'm master of 3 hubs, we didn't have this problem with ptokax few year ago ........ somebody can help me ? we are 5 master who want to go back to ptokax but if we can't be alltime in the hublist.org we will keep running our hub under ynhub.

It is probably more to do with a script you're using preventing the pinger from finishing it's login to the hub so it can get the user count, rather than the version of ptokax at fault.
I found that a script that disconnected users with old DC++ versions was preventing the hublist.org pinger from logging in fully. I got rid of it and the pinger gets the usercount fine now  (I transferred the version check to block whenever someone attempts to download from others in the hub or register their nick).

your right , hublist.org pinger use dc++0.401 , it's an old version.
i need to make my hub showed all time on the hublist.org if i can't i must go back on the ynhub ans 5 ou 6 owner will follow me , if i can i'm pretty shure all this master will change their hub to ptokax

sorry but it doesn't work , i try 0.3.3.21c debug  with & without the script find in the hublist.org FAQ  for the pinger, i still show 0 users even if this morning my hub count 257 users at 7 am , it's not connection problem to my hub, i didn't have any report of users for that. it's only the hublist.org pinger who can't count users. when i put the 0.3.3.21c debug  the fisrt time it work one time only and since nothing, i belive it's their pinger, but they say it's ptokax problem, you can check since i change for ptokax at //www.hublist.org/?p=hub&id=137700, it's for that too ptokax loose more and more hub master. i really don't know what i will do if i carry on whith ptokax or i go back to my old hub.

It is bug in pinger, never log in if is registered because send $Version in bad state. Here is no reason to have registered pinger in PtokaX (if is hub registered only then pinger is always allowed to check it), please remove password for pinger, unregister it in hub and after this pinging will working without problems :]

Hublist.org reg soes not go like this. You have to reg your hubaddy at hublist.org site.

In actual log from hublist.org pinger is everything ok, pinger log in and receive full userlist and oplist :rolleyes: And hublist.org show 284 users for your hub  :))

Thank you all for your help , it's working now pinger pass 4 times without any troubles, i'm waiting a while to be shure and i pass the second hub under ptokax and after if everything ok i will put 5 other friend hub's too.
but i have to modify a script and change some settings for the pinger take the right amount of users.

Sorry if I mistunderstood but if your hub is full surely you don't need to be on the hublist?
