I have an idea to PtokaX.

Why not add a list online users command like default in PtokaX software? that would lower down the CPU usage for the scripts. maybe... Could have a on/off funktion on if you want to disable it.

And Idea nr 2:

Check-dubble ip. A option that only allow 1 connection per IP. allso a on/off funktion on that. And if you have a the funktion on, you could add a IP-immune list so if an ISP have many users behind firewall, they can connect if there singel IP are in the IP-immune list.

What do you say about that Ptaczek?

Totally supporting request about more options inside ptokax to replace/decrease a little the resources taken by scripts and good point at all people requesting here.
I hope ptacek start responding a few of them, cool ideas should appear here. I hope thougths like y-hub have many options and ptokax good script suuport don't stop the adition of some options inside ptokax, this reason is totally silly i think.

2 errors I notice right out the gate with 15.16db.

1. The mem counter at the bottom doesnt work for me.

2. Upon startup of the hub, none of the bot names in any of the scripts are registered until there is a restarting of the scripts after the hub is started.

Here's another idea for the hub software.  How about when you use the !banip command to ban an ip of someone who is not logged in, it allows a reason to be put with it sop when the user tries to log in they dont just get "your ip is banned" or whatever it does.  Instead they get the reason associated with the ip.

and while we're at it, how about a seperate tab window to give us the ability to change the names of the commands built in??

Im not sure that this is a really good idea -- lots of scripts are depended on those commands, and if u change !banip to !ipban -- scripts will not work, so you will have to rewrite them...

Just think about it... but a reason thingy is a good idea :D

Another idea for ptokax...
New "sector" called In-built commands, all can edit,delete,disable,ability the in-built commands....and maybe add new in-build commands for expert ppl..

Oki  guys   i need some  help   i can run every script i want whit  betas   but one script  makes hub freeze after a while   gives a error in ptokax  debug file

Already send  a few  e mails      but  he says  has to do whit scripts  i tested all  script  only  happens  when this one is running

Why ptaczek don't implement the MULTICHAT(or MULTIHUB) Server in Ptokax?!
It's a good idea......isn't it?
Ahhhhh!!!! If you try to connect to a Multichat Server you recive this message "Server unreachable" if you have the multichat server in your pc and you run it and try to connect in ptokax at 127.0.0.1 it's work.....

i don't know what the plans are for the multihub features atm. ptaczek can only answer that, but the features were mainly developed by amutex, amutex left, if he's coming back i don't know.

There is another non released multi hub server application that is needed too use the multi hub features of ptokax.

i don't know what the future is for the features if it has any since ptaczek said earlier that they may be removed in coming version of ptokax.

and as for testversion of ptokax build b15.12 and b15.16 they both giving me  cpu problems. if i run it half a day ptokax cpu usage shoots up too approx 90% and connecting too it is not possible :(

i didn't try yet too run a older version but does anyone else have this too ?

Another version of hub server application?
Developing by who? If by aMutex the future is dark, if by oher people... Ptacek knows this?, If he know it, perhaps he maintain the code for mhs and do not remove it but in this case, he will need to work together with the other person since ptokax have change a lot of code and for good support ptacek will take about the code inside ptokax itself.
Also i remember now there is another app out here who implement multichat support, is no compatible without ptokax because needs an script running in every ptokax server, and the script part for this is totally difficult because some limitations in lua language but i know ptacek, he can implement an built in support for this (something like a single plug in support) in less than a few hours and optimize the code in a few hours more if he wanna do it, you can be sure of that, i also know the other developer, he wants to give support for ptokax too, since both are nice and smart persons, i don't see any reason for not do it, except one or both of the developers will be not interesting or nobody find something usefull in this. I will give this link to people related for he read it, perhaps Ptacek say yes, so if better him be informed for just in case.

Yes I am having the same problem.  I'm running the 15.16DB and after letting it run for, oh it took almost 24 hours, I noticed something was wrong.  I tried to refresh my user list cause it was stuck at 207 users.  It wouldnt refresh.  I tried bring up the hub from the task bar and it wouldnt.  I opened task manager ptokax was using 99-100% CPU and was eating a lot of memory. 144MB of virtual memory and like half that of memory.

Interesting thing is that when I just hovered the mouse over the ptokax icon on the taskbar (you know, by the clock) it said there were still 112 users connected.  I tried reconnecting my client and it connected and that was it.

Every time it says Connection reset by server, I forceably shot down the hub.  After the first time I ended the ptokax process in task manager, I tried restarting it and connecting.  Once connected as it shows above, I clicked on the hub and it was nothing but totally white.  I clicked to close it and had to end the process cause it wasnt responding.  I restarted the hub again and now it is working fine.  People are connecting, searching and everything normally.  I didnt see any errors that the hub gave to put into the debug log so I have no further than what I've explained here.  Hope this helps.

In short for [NL]Pur, yes I am having the same problem with 15.16, but I did not have that problem with 15.12.
