Hey guys,

Do any of you know wat this error means and if so can u explain please?

Thanx in advance!

bastya_elvtars

Seemslike your windows messed up connection handling. What hardware do you have? And what windows (crappy XP, i assume)? And why do you use old px?  :D
Everything could have been anything else and it would have just as much meaning.

lol it's my host, she uses Windows XP yes and her fuckin connection is sooooooooo slow 4 sum reason, could this be related? I'm in the process of converting to new PX so in the meantime I need this issue sorted  :P

I got the same message after I installed a comple of programs. It went away efter a reboot :).  It was some sort of spyware that caused the problem.

One of my friends have run ptokax on winxp for a couple of month and havent hade any problem ....

Hi i had the same error as the threadstarter, for me it was because my firewall asked me if i wanted to allow ptokax conenction(bind)  to localhost, as i did not answer fast enough on the firewalls request, ptokax decided that it could not bind on the choosen socket. Perhaps you also have a firewall and it acts in silent mode/deny unknown or something similar?

Greetings,

Hades
