If yes what kind of linux?

suse, ubuntu, freespire?

No, it doesn't works in linux  :P

...but you can emulate it (tried with wine and there's some GUI problem).

i the meantime there are other linux hubsofts around

verli and yhub (or something like that) are still being developed

aquila (development has ended but its rather stable in the latest version)
