howdy people!
it was a while again but ptokax still rocks!
but im wondering about something..
i known that ptokax can run on linux too aswell weirdows
now come my question...

will there be ever a release for QNAP nas drives ?
like >

QPKG Software Application <

it would be nice to have a QPKG for ptokax!

anyone can tell me something about this?

thnx in advance .... P_pan

PPK

I'm checked QNAP website and they state that it is using "Embedded Linux". Then all you need to do is compile PtokaX for it. I can't do that, because i don't own and don't have access to any QNAP device ::)

oh! thats to bad.....
and im sure not a pro on linux at all..
maybe someone can pick this up?
just an idea though....
it would be great to have ptokax running on my qnap cause dc still does life :)
i reall hope anybody could pick this up :)
i known many peeps having a qnap ar asking for such or a client

thnx PKK!  keep on rocking

bastya_elvtars

As far as I can tell, it is possible to compile software on this device.
Everything could have been anything else and it would have just as much meaning.

P_pan

Yes it is bastya_elvtars...
but im not a linux guru etc compiling stuff
also i don't want to destroy this new nas..
so ill guess maybe someone will pick it up
and making a QKGP (installpackage) for it..
or maybe a  client..

thank you both for replying to this question :)

bastya_elvtars

Ask on the device's forums for help. Packaging software is something that has to be done by OS vendors.
Everything could have been anything else and it would have just as much meaning.

thats't the prob those guys are lazy...
awell ...
thank you for the effort though
you guys are rocking
