Hahaha yep i was just going to post that phatty.... when i make someone a master they can only type in a pm and not the main chat.

Another possible request is that maybe the joke command can be seperate from the trigger one...
the chat on command works both of them so if you dont wanna hear gekko's little remarks you shut chat off but then the jokes dont work either :) just another ideal no biggie.

just a quick howto


usin G6, you will have to change all ur registeredusers.dat and for those of u that have alot of registeredusers it can b a pain in the ass so heres the simple way todo it

open registeredusers.dat with notepad, click edit recplace, type |numberofnetwrfounder

for example if u have channelbot or the older Gekko releases network founder is 7

so

|7

change it to a word such as

|Owner

then do the same for all the others replcae to the appropriate

then once they are all change start chnaging the words to numbers so

|Owner

chnage to

|0

and keep doing this until they are al replcaed, very simple, good luck any question supporting this pleace do post

ok im setting up a new portal for the gekko beta testers, so i will mass mesage you of new modules meaning all you have todo is download the new module and it will auto update the pack by you placing it in the correct folder and a simple restart, to get ur details please come see me, and ill osrt it with you

Beta testers, can you do me a little fav, open up a text file, and every say 20-30mins write down on the text file the usage of memory/cpu of script.

so example

PS. I get some strange things from the commands with useing the Black dc client are you interested in those as well?

Ok phatty im not sure if these are bugs or that I missed something but I will post what ive found :)

!disconnect = give valid user name
!userlogs = when i use it it disconnects me
!slots = doesnt seem to work

The above i get when using oDC 3.1
The below i get when using Black dc

the rules command doesnt seem to work
the help command for self regged users also shows the admin commands

Thats all i have right now hopefully it is something ive missed but hey those commands dont matter to me much anyhow lol.

hell pH?tt?, there was some time sense i posted here, hope this comes right, i run a semi-private hub, is it possible to make the self registration optinal, so i as owner could disable it? The script working fine so far, havent tryed every command yet, but i will;), btw how do i change the hub IP that comes up when users log in, it gives the hub IP to your test hub;)

when i use !kick it gives the user instant acces to connect again
When i use !disconnect i get the messege: *****Enter a valid nickname
When i banned my client on my wifes comp (network) i got this:

hehe, but there was no trouble to remove the ban in ptokax hubsoftware;)
btw, "-checker-" is the name i used as alias on robocop HubBot BotName, how come its still there? i restarted the hub and taked robocop away and even clear the BotName on Opchat?
it hangs there in my userlist anyway...whit a key-icon, i cant kick him either;)
then i wounder what "ses" doing and how do i disable it?

1. !temp (user) = doesnt do anything, the bot says the person was kicked but actually they were not:

Syntax Error = Attempt to concat global 'kicked' (a nil value)

2.!disconnect (user) = Bot returns the message please use valid nickname

Syntax Error = Attempt to concat global 'hubs' (a nil value)

ok the kicked was my spelling mistame so thats fixable, i also noticed a ban problem :S, but i will sort that, and disocnnect will be sorted, as for the global hubs, i will fix that no problem, i just didnt add message for if user doesnt have the hub tab and i have not updated for the newer hub tags, so i will get on it asap :)

which beta was this???  ?(

was beta 2 with added update module or beta3 package?

Sorry phatty there is one more the !slots command doesnt do anything .... no errors though :)

My version i believe is beta 2 with the modual update got it yesterday morning i think. >:o)
