Hi guys,
MultiHub is a recuring subject here. Has anyone seen a multihub chat solution that would make it possible to let the chat from the partner hub appear in a different window, like the OP-Chat for example?
Or can anyone think of an idea to adapt an existing solution to do this ;) ?
Cheers and thanks,
i'll have a look at this tonight...
i'll see if it is possible to do this with bcdc++

tiny mod of the script i just posted.
just make it send a priv. msg instead 2 main chat.
plop
let me get this straight. you use a scripted client to do a multihubchat?
yep, the eisiest way...
right. I've found plop's script. I've found bcdc++'s homepage (or it so it says http://utrum.dyndns.org:8000/index.html). But now I'm stuck. I mean I don't see any readme, or whatever, that could help me out. I don't see anything in bcdc++'s gui regarding the scripts either.
Would you guys be so kind as to write a step by step to link chats with bcdc++. Thanks a lot in advance.
Cheers
that it because there is no docs yet.. hopfully i will know some more about the api to write some docs soon...
in mean time look in this thread: here (http://board.univ-angers.fr/thread.php?threadid=1563&boardid=24&styleid=1&sid=144314a3033c22d244e6af7093008adb)
oh I've seen those, but I don't get it.
I was more looking for something like:
1- install bcdc++ on machine running hub
2- install scripts
3- adapt this an that in script to fit needs
4- connect to disired hubs
5- be happy :)
I realise I nearly did it myself ;) is anything of this correct?
Cheers and thanx
3.5- startup bcdc++
plop
thanks, It works, now, I only have to make it do what I want. Switching to the script thread :)
