Hi Folks

I think the subject says it all.
I twould be verry helpfull to have Line numbering in the Script editor.
As example when there is an error in row 522 in a script, you can load the script an see directly there where the problem is. You do not have to open any other LUA Editor and browse to your script.

Kind Regards

Not a bad idea, but so few actually use the inbuilt editor.
It is indeed weak as compared to any other editor app.
An 'open in external editor' button (with a specified editor or the associated one) would be better.
Everything could have been anything else and it would have just as much meaning.

Yes and no.

For reference this is OK but not if you want to make e quick edit.
When you open the script in an external editor and to have the possibility to edit the script and to save it afterwards you need to switch the script off. And when you use the PX-editor you do not need to switch it off, you can save it and just restart it.

This is incorrect. PtokaX stores compiled versions of scripts in memory. It does not lock files in any way. I always edit enabled scripts and after saving just restart them.
Everything could have been anything else and it would have just as much meaning.
