Title: ASCII Pictures in DC++
Post by: gnriccardo on 15 March, 2004, 23:50:06
Hi everybody, I'm new of the forum!

I looked in the past discussions about ASCII pictures in the hub, and I realized that to have a good visualization in DC++ you must use font "MS Sans Serif size8".

Ok, I downloaded several "Jpg2txt" converters but none of them had the option to convert in that font, this means I converted the jpg in the other available formats, but when I reconvert the text file to the Sans Serif font, the image squeeze and stretch, and it's unusable in DC++.

Does anyone knows a good converter able to the MS SanSerif 8, and so, good to create ASCII pictures for DC++?

Thanks

That doesn't help much in DC++ as the default font is MS Sans Serif. Script-wise it wouldn't be such a good idea to use another font.
