Title: REQ: Minimum Online Time/Time Tracker
Post by: frankyk on 16 March, 2004, 04:09:19
Hi,

Are there any scripts that can track a users total online time for a week/month and if they fail to meet quota, they get banned/kicked.

Also, that last script that I used for tracking user online time didn't work so well, I realized it was full of bugs and such =/.  I'm trying to figure out coding by guess and check but it's hard not having a book, heh.  Anyway, is there a script that can track a users total online time, like +onlinetime [user].  That way I can see who has been on for awhile and who hasn't?

I would guess that it would be quite easy to wrote a script to do this... but my question is this:

I enter your hub at 10.00am on a monday.  You check to see when I entered the hub at 10.05am.  Will I get kicked?

I don't understand the logic of a script which tells you the time I have been in the hub.

Maybe I am missing something.

I guess that he wants this script to check the total uptime for a user over a period of time, if the user hasn't been online for lets say 50% of the time since his first entrance then he should be banned/kicked...

and i guess that this shouldn't be checked all the time but checked time to time...
