Title: HOST on the Web?
Post by: faxino on 30 March, 2004, 17:03:34
Could a Ptokax be created that he host on the Web? This way who has the server it doesn't risk his own computer, if the holds up from house... thanks and you excuse my bad English

That would be even more awsome :)

Imagine what huge hubs could pop up then haha

Only think is i don't think the web hosts will allow that ..
Since it will probably use way to much memory compared to a website .. But still nice idea  :D

i got more the idea there wanting a dedicated hosted server for there request, ptokax won't ever change 2 a webbassed hub indeed.
and i don't wanne make them depressed but i remember there was a dutch network using sutch a hosted server and they stopped because of the huge bill for the amount of data.

verlihub should have a finished lua plugin by now.

I was thinking of getting a Windows server but the cost of which is around ?100/mo. So am looking for a linux alternative supporting lua :(
