If u are a lua hungry beast and want to run a hub that has no second in this world ...
pls try looking into DCSH (http://www.dcsh.org/english/). I found it to be Higly costumisable ..
and with some little work it could take "most" of the scripts lying around in this great forum ..
I would enjoy watching some new DCSH's going up .. ;)
Taken from their Web Site ...

DCSH is a software developped in C code including :
- LUA 5.0 (www.lua.org) for scripting
- GeoIP v1.1.0 (maxmind.com/geoip) for geolocalisation
Why DCSH is more interesting than any other direct connect hub software ?.
1) It's very flexible and includes nearly unlimited features.
2) It can run under Windows, Linux and Mac OS. (<< --- horray the way hubs are to be ,.. !!!)
3) It can dowload users file lists and analyses them.
4) It can detect users slots (even for passive clients, note it contains a UDP server).
5) It contain multi-hubs functions (since version 2).
sounds like dch++.
checked it out a while back but the way they handle banned users can take huge amount of power (on every connecting user it reloads the banlist).
plop
Eventhough .. I mentioned it for its high customisation ability :)
I am definately not the one to argue with u in the way it is manipulating user data ...
I don't have any idea on this kind of thing ...
I just enjoyed a literaly barebone lua hub .. :)
In no way flawless ppl ... u are warned .. :D
yep thats true, you can do a lot of nice tricks on it, but those can also make it work really slow.
all depends on the skils of the person making the scripts.
personaly i would love 2 play a bit with dch, that is a lot further in development then sdch.
there is another hub being developt which is also gone get lua, just lost the name.
plop
dont misunderstand me ppl .. I love to script for PtokaX ...
this DCSH hubsoft is kicking my curiosity bones again .. beta is on the streets .. and it looks very fertile to scripting now ...
console or as service for windows ...
there is also for linux and aix ... I havent tied those ..
