Heyy guys (and girls) now i need your help again.
I use oDC or dc++ or Phantom DC and no matter what i do, my share wont bee showing corectly
When i share my DVD rip in VOB files, the DC only show the half.
Why ?
Please help me
Try packing them with Winrar and split the whole thing into 700Mb Pieces (so u end up with 7 files). Then it works.

That's not the issue, i need to know WHY DC wont show the files. I allready know how to do it in other ways, but why wont DC show the correct share

Thanks - here are the solution
The option Settings --> Advanced --> Remove dupes completely from your share (otherwise, only ther size is subtracted, but the files can be seen by others) should give your a bit more information
So your version of DC++ still sees the VOBs as dupes? Have you tried upgrading to the versions that do hashing? 0.401 I believe.

You misunderstand me - the solutions above works Now i can share VOB files with correct share size

no you misunderstood wombat.
older dc++ versions should remove the files as it sees it by the filenames as dupes.
now with hashing it should notiche that the filename might be the same, the hash isn't the same so it should be shared (different hash == different file).
