sorry i dont know nothing about linux/unix
"sorry i dont know nothing about linux/unix"
LOL! Then why do you want to run PtokaX in it?!
-NotRabidWombat
coz i have 5 servers 3 is windows based 10/10Mbit
and 2 more Unix/Linux 100/100Mbit
so i wanna use 100/100Mbit to my hub :D
So you don't know anything about Linux/Unix, but you run 2 servers with that OS? That doesn't make any sense.
-NotRabidWombat
have/owns something else the running them,
and he never said they work ;)
So he owns a linux server that he puts on a 100MBit connection? And it may not be running. I wish I had that kind of money.

why don't you change the ethernet card ??
or does the slots ( PCI or EISA ) doesn't match ??

plop already answered your question,
i btw heard something from forgein ppl that they have 100mbit connections for less the 50 euro a month.
i hardly can imagine that tho since in holland it costs +- 4500 euro a year in server park (Telecity)
SaintSinner thank you very much mate :)
"but only under certain conditions."
what is that means? :)

1 of those conditions is that you can't use the build-in database, thats a pure windows thing.
2 start it it shouldn't be more then "wine PtokaX.exe".
but it might be needed 2 give some more arguments.
