Yo i need to know how do make scripts

how to make bots do things

how to make a message when a op enters and leaves the hub

how to make a script for ops to check wat they can do and also wat other ppl can do for example check a list of music that open in a new screen and stuff

and also when a master, op, vip, or reged user enters the person gets dissconnected when the chat in main wat do i do to stop this

and ho do you rgister ppl

check the scripting.txt file from the docs folder and have a look in the howto section of the board.
for more detailed info about lua you can find lots of docs on http://www.lua.org

ops masters and vips cant chat in main it keeps disconnecting us

wat can i do this is really annoying i cant chat or do anything plus i dont know how to work scripts

check if your settings in ptokax are correct.
go to Rules and Bots
set chat msg and private msg to 0
Now you can chat all that you want in mainchat and private chat.

nope still dont work i have tried dat putting the chats to 0 i still keep getting disconnected :( some on mustc know wast to do help plz

are you using dc++ and is there any hub scripts running when this happens?

if so does this happen when these hub scripts are removed?

still aint working and im getting this alot in an error.txt file:

25/06/2004 15:12:00 - [REG] RegSock Error 10060 Connection timed out. (desiville.no-ip.info)

wat does this mean and is this stopping me from chatting

because i am getting so confused and there are so may problems could someone plz make me some easy guide to setting up a hub to perfection with the simple steps to actually get the hub running so ppl can chat and register and if u can maybe a few simple scripts that can make ppl do things this would be really helpful thanx

A Suggestion...

maby look in to hosting a hub for one of the many DC Networks out there ..

most will supply a ready to run hub fully scripted.
