Title: Hide IPS????

Hi, is it possible or is there a script that hides users ip addresses within your hub?

any help would be appreciated :)

yo sarahjane,

ull find that this isnt possable from any point, cause the server hands ips to clients all the time...even if u say stopped a script command that showed ips, ppl can still goto download of a user and get there ip directly

if this isnt what ur thinking ask again with more info bout what u want exactly =]

dc is P2P, in in full words "point to point".
every point is an IP.
the IP is like the postal code + house number.
if you send a letter without the adress (postal code/ house number) the mailman has no idea where 2 deliver it.
remove the IP from any P2P and it doesn't work.
if it scares you that DC++ shows the ip these day's you are 2 late.
it has always been posible 2 see the IP's from the other ppl ("netstat -A" from the command prompt shows all the ip's your connected 2), this goes for nearly everything on the net (on some things you can hide, like browsing the web from behind an anonymous proxy).
