Hi all,
I think this will be a challenge (although it might be consuming a 'bit' of CPU-time :D ), but.... if creatable it would be a wonderfull tool!
I would very much like a script to check how long 'No slots available' is being answered to a connection-request of a specific user over a certain period of time.
Something like:
!checknoslot
Yep, I know..... I should keep on dreaming! But... I have seen a lot of 'impossibles missions ' created here. I just keep up the good faith! 8)
Mind you, it is but an idea!!
I'd just as soon 'kick' the blamed party. Sometimes however the accusing party is to blame!
Any trial version will be more than WELCOME!
Thanks Experts!!! :]
this is a mission nearly imposible. lol
would only be posible on pasive users and then even it's not save.
active mode doesn't need the hub 2 send that msg as it goes direct.
on pasive mode you get loads of false kicks, some transfers can take days and some shares are really populair or just so big that there slot will always be busy.
use a CDM 2 capture slot lockers.

Plop. as a mattre of fact, I am:
- running the hub
- running DC++ as OP
- running DC++k CDM as FAKECHECKER
All is well concerning connection speeds etc.
No problem whatsoever.
What I very much dislike is people taking advantage of 'honest users'. That's why I would like to have a script that could do what I suggested, even.... if it would 'lag' the hub for a bit.
What I forgot to say is: (yes, I DO dare!!) the requested function should ALSO have the possibilty of being 'disabled'!!! :]
OK, I believe whatever you tell me. But..... if we can send a probe to Jupiter, what can we NOT establish within LUA ??? 8)
Once more, no hurry and..... I would not mind it being 'logged'. Just wish to get the truth about some suspicious users.
Please get back to me on this one. Would very much appreciate it!
Thanks!

it isn't lua which is restricting it, it's ptokax.
it would be posible if ptokax could download filelists.
but it might be posible 2 do with bcdc/DCDM.
currently got a whole load of scripts 2 build that i shouldn't take new challanges for a while.
but sure gone remind this 1, or maby some1 else wants 2 make this 1.

It's not possible, it's client client communication.

thats why i suggested bcdc.
alltho i'm not sure if it would work with the currect api.

If someone creates that, it`s already possible inside the script of Robocop.
But perhaps there can be written a script for other user , a LUA script of that one.
Good luck.
