Title: Client script counting kicks.
Post by: Mandor on 15 July, 2004, 21:47:47
Hello everyone.

I need a client script for DCDM to count how many times a particular user was kicked during the session (as long as DCDM stays connected to the hub) - it would count messages from main chat. After three kicks I would want the client to sent a "ban" command to the hub containing user's nickname and a banning reason.

Could somebody help me?

The typical kick message would look like:

[22:00] Mandor is kicking bad_user_nick because:  I had a good reason (IP: XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX)

The "ban" command's syntax is:

!nickban nick reason

I hope that helps.

Could anybody help me with this script? I cannot write it myself. I am a pretty newbie at this. All I can do is to modify already existing scripts, but I only know how to do it for PtokaX. I have no idea how it would work as a client script.

Anyway, could somebody write such a script? NightLitch wrote it's fairly easy. Maybe it isn't? I know that nobody is obligated to help me but maybe someone could?
