user command sent by the server may screw some clients... better give info on what client you are using.

Post by: patamon90 on 30 September, 2004, 07:38:11
Okay, I user Brain-Master v2.1b
and I user PtokaX DC Hub 0.3.2.6 TestDrive 4
hmm, I use DC++ 0.4033 if that is important =)
anything more?

Post by: nErBoS on 30 September, 2004, 13:50:04
Hi,

Like bastya said the problem should be from the client screwing up the commands, normaly by shutdown the DC and start up again, solves the problem, because the BOT only sends the comands when user enters. Try to use DC++ 0.401 and tell me if the same think happens.

try pressing Ctrl+R or hitting the reconnect button on the DC++ toolbar when u see those twin menus .... I know it is annoying .. I'd fix it if I knew how .. :)

Hi,

Well in the line 3022 you have this...

user:SendData("$UserCommand 255|")
use this instead...

user:SendData("$UserCommand 255 1 |")
NOTE: This should be change in the script that you have in Base-Dados\Script-Code\Brain-Master.lua and then save it. After that just use the compile.bat to compile the new script, and just restart the script on your ptokax editor.

Hi,

Bug on reading Setting files. Just turn off your ptokax then set in the GUI the command ON and then save. After that just open your ptokax and run it. I will send a version with that correct and other things.

Hi,

Ok  :))

Steps:

1) Shut down your ptokax.
2) Run the script GUI and make all the modifications you want and then save the changes.
3) Start Up your ptokax.

Hi,

Have you saved the changes before exiting the GUI ?? Or have you changed any option in the GUI (config.exe) ??

Best regards, nErBoS
Title:
Post by: patamon90 on 07 October, 2004, 11:36:29
Well, I have changed some small things in Config.exe and saved it, and restarted Ptokax, but I can't found anything with +slots in that file, or in the .lua file =/

Graphical User Interface : the interface / way ( in this case a window ) that the user interacts with a program ...

Simple counts : the window from where u change parameters ...

Post by: nErBoS on 08 October, 2004, 00:56:13
Hi,

It can be, you must be doing something wrong. Have you closed your ptokax ?? First close your ptokax (when i mean close its to realy close not stop the software:P ) then go to the GUI do your mods then save it. Then you can open your ptokax and start. If this didn't worked show me your setting.dat that is in the Base-Dados folder.

Best regards, nErBoS

umm, I doesn't fix anything in Config.exe, I go into Base-Dados/Script-Code/Brain-Master.lua and set everything with Free Slots CMD to "on".
And this user command thing is:
elseif (cmd == "+slots") then
CheckFreeSlots(user)
return 1
but it still won't work..
Yes I have opened that "compile.bat" thing too =P
And yes, I have tried too close (exit) PtokaX and that thing.. =P

Hi,

You shouldn't be touching in the code unless you know what you were doing. Please show me what you have in your "Setting.dat" file that is in the "Scripts\Base-Dados" folder.

Hi,

"Anti Open Extra Slot" is to not let users use that option that you have in DC++. In the tga will appear has "O:number".
