I do not know if it is possible to make this thread Optimus moderated.....
But I do need a thread which summarizes the main issues left/wanted/implemented/notdone into one page.....with updates from Optimus....I think it would help lots of people out.....
The Original thread is now over 100 pages...which means it takes ages before you find a sollution...or help!!
Now the Robocop script has changed so major...creating a new thread for it, and also maybe summarize some items here doesn't seem all that bad...
And I do think it will help out users....and make them post less questions....look at it as a first creation of a help file....

well, i tried to self register on a robocop 9 hub and i found a major problem ...

It is made this way because of security reasons. But those special characters can be added no prob.

well, could it be that PtokaX register file might get currupt with using special Chars ..
indeed it does get currupt on specific chars.. thats why opti and others took these precautions against special chars..

ik heb geporbeerd robo 9 in ptokax 0.3.3.0 aan het werk te krijge maar krijg steeds de fout van error in line 41 als ik de script wil in lade
\RoboCopv9.0b.lua loaded. en dan Syntax error: unexpected end of file in `Lua@ ?[????A'

I dont know the lang ... but I surely know that u tried to edit the Robocop.lua file ...
I suggest a fresh install and never try to edit that file again ...
thats because it is compiled ... you may only edit uncompiled lua scripts ...
and now comes rabidwombat :P

seems dutch to me
from what i can make out he had an error message refering to line 41 and when he wanted to open it with his edito it didnt work lol
well as herodes has just said it is compiled and so no editing is possible
