hi! i get this problem in ptokax! can someone help me out here? the problem is: [BUF] [PT]Patuga@home SendBuffer overflow. User disconnected and then disconnect's the user! can someone help me here?
If you use the option "keep slow clients online", you will get something like this:
[BUF] che 1. SendBuffer overflow. Buffer cleared - user stays online.
That will do. :)
Bsk.:
ya, what I wanna know is what causes that to happen. Is it the fact that there is a bad connection between the client and the hub, or just that the hub has piss poor bandwidth?
I'm not sure.. but I think it has to do with timeouts.. and that can be due to poor connection aswell... or just a bad connection at a certain point...
The buffer overflow happen if the client (or hub) is unable to handle the dat throughput generated by the hub (by the client).
few reasons:
a) the hub's connection is maxed out
b) the client's connection is maxed out
c) there is some temporary drop-out on the link between hub and client
and variations of that above.
i've seen another stuff bout the [13:54] [BUF] [PT]Patuga@home SendBuffer overflow. User disconnected. !
when i was using the BlackDC this happened! and then i close it and never happened again! could it be related?maybe a bug on ptokax caused by BlackDC? will wait a replye bout it! tkhx all! xokas over & out
Hi,
I have this problem with very few users and most of the time, it works out correctly. Only one user keep getting an overflow and a subsequent disconnection, but for some reason he can't reconnect... The hub disconnects him, but his session is kept alive for hours after that. What could be causing this? Btw, I did enable the 'keep slow clients online'

tell him 2 start using bcdc++ and limit his upload a tiny bit.
if he has 25KB/s up then set the limiter to 22KB/s.
should solve his problem.
