Title: Hubs status on Website
Post by: Dj_OcTaGoN on 15 December, 2004, 09:18:43
Is there a way to use a PHP script to get status of a Hub (If its up running or is down).
Shouldn't it be possible to ping the hub or something (could ping the DNS though, but then the Status will show if the computer is on Internet and not if Hub is running or not)?
Isnt it possible to do it the same way like with gameservers?

If there is lua scripts for this I guess the webserver has to be run on the same computer? So a workaround the luascript would be worth gold!

(Also there is this inbuilt webserver function in PtokaX, is it possible to link somekind of script to check this website and forward the status "On/Off" to another site? I just want a simple |:Logotype:| Hubname - Status|
)
