ok, some ppl said to me, it can't be done, i said there has to be a way
becuase all file transfers are started by clicking the user in the hub, so the command of starting goes through the hub, so it should be scriptable
hope someone finds me right, becuz i don't know all for sure :P
ooh, and if it isn't posible tell it to me then plz
Cheers ICE
well you are right ...
the user interface ( what you refer to as 'clicking' ) orders your client to send $ConnectToMe or $RevConnectToMe protocol command to the hub ...
That should initiate a transaction between two clients ...
Yes it is scriptable ... but what is it that you want to do in the place ? :)
well, this way i can see if ppl who join do something or not, and if so whom of my 4 sources (4 remote locations) they are downloading from, itz also nice so see what is being downloaded, so it can be seen for how long approx. a slot is going to be taken (i know the size of files)

only the download request can be seen, the others are pure client-client things... that's why it's called Direct Connect.
seeing what transfers are started is enough

yes u r right ...
IMHO, you can only see that one "peer" tries to connect to another "peer".
Correct me if I'm wrong.
ok, but can i see if the connection starts/suceeds?
cheers ICE
Correct me if im wrong - but wouldnt that just suck all the bandwidth out of your hub?
it would?, why?

>>HERE<< (http://wza.digitalbrains.com/DC/doc/Introduction.html) is some interesting reading about the DC-protocol.
rite, but what i make off it is that it can be done, and i can even how big the file is that is being requested...
Cheers ice
BTW, how to put that in a scirpt?
It can not be done.
hmm, ok, thx too all for your input
