Post by: Zouthen on 23 December, 2004, 00:31:29
HI wonder if it's possible to make a
Connection Correcter!
that shows the real connection the user got

if it stands like this.that he got LAN(T3)
and he actually got only DSL or 56kbs

Or someone already maked one!
if soo....i need it  :P

But why not test real speed via web script ?
like http://www.beelinebandwidthtest.com/
or search more :
 http://www.google.com/search?hl=ru&q=bandwidth+test&lr=
I mean that a hub would be for registered
users only and they would be invited
to the web site to test their speed and register.
Only I do not know how to automaticly
register user in hub's database via web
script.
For me target hub will be NMDCH and SDCH allso.
But once I get through that-like
registration on hub stoned247.no-ip.info
wich is not operating by this time unlikely.
I even tried to serch in webarchive
for its website but unsuccesfully:(
Wha do u think about that huh ?

P.S.
Actually there still are problem
with script-driven checking
of minimum desired speed.
That  speed checking script need to be done.
As bot or client script, whatever.
