Title: !help
Post by: b_w_johan on 11 March, 2005, 08:53:01
i thought that in ptokax if you send !help you get a list with options....

but if i do that in 16.05 it isn't showing any commands ..

if i try with OP stats it isn't working neither with reg ....

mistake by me somewhere ?

or do i have to make script so they can read the options ..

!topic isn't working neither tried !topic message but it didn't work ...

greetings Johan

This is weird. The !help command has always worked for me, from 1st version to the latest one.
Right now I getThe following commands are available to you:

Profile specific commands:
!passwd - change your password
!ban () - permanently ban IP address of the , followed by kick. Reason is optional.
!banip - permanently ban IP address
!nickban - ban user's nick (if user is connected then he is kicked)
!unban - unban IP address or Nick
!getbanlist - display list of banned IP addresses
!tempban
using PtokaX DC Hub 0.3.3.0 build 16.05 [debug]. You sure you haven't got a single script in your "scripts" folder? If u are, I can't think of what might be blocking the !help command

also you could check the profile manager and see if commands is asigned to your current profile !

If is not script then you must have bad settings for command prefix, check PtokaX.ini CmdPrefix= ... default is CmdPrefix=!  :)

Gee I hadn't thought about that... hidden setting, heh :P I was about to say "this command is inbuilt, there's nowhere you can change it"... How about incorporating it in the gui? ;)

Is it, or will it be, possible to use more then 1 Prefix?

Like in YHub or YNHub you can use multiple Prefixes for Hub Commands

Please PPK could you do this as well??  :D

No problem, when you get time ;) In the meantime I know I can change the prefix there, which is fine by me. And I know I'm not about to donate any $$ for PtokaX development, I need what little I earn to feed my kids and pay for my connection... so I won't press charges ;)
